Before your Lip Procedure

• Stay Hydrated which will enhance the augmentation process

• Avoid any blood thinning medications (aspirin, fish oil, St Johns wart, Advil and the like) for days prior, if that is an option to decrease bruising - if not possible, please discuss with the Physician

• Avoid alcoholic beverages to decrease the chance of bruising

• Please make us aware of any recent medical procedures of changes to you medical history

The Procedure

• Cleaning and applying numbing cream

• Injection and constant evaluations by staff and your self 

• Gentle massage to evenly distribute the filler

• Post care instructions

Post Filler aftercare

• Ice packs to reduce swelling, if necessary

• No strenuous activity or exercise for 24 to 48 hours

• avoid alcohol and blood thinning medications for a few days, if possible

• No makeup on the treated area for at least 12 hours

Potential Filler Side Effects and Risks

• Modern fillers are generally very safe, but there are risks and side effects to be aware of

• Temporary swelling, bruising or redness 

• Sensitivity's or tenderness  around the area treated

• Rare allergic of infection or blood vessel injection

How long does it last?
